The Stakes

Childhood cancer is now the leading cause of death from disease among children over one year of age. In the United States more than 18,000 cases of cancer are diagnosed each year among children from birth to age 19. On average, 36 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer ever day in the United States. In fact, cancer kills more children than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, AIDS, asthma, and juvenile diabetes combined. That’s reason after reason to get on your bike day after day, mile after mile, rainy day after rainy day, and to keep pedaling to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Our Mission

Biking almost 4,000 miles from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge would seem crazy to most people but we have a dream. Our dream is to make a difference in the lives of others for the better and we believe that by doing this we can make a difference in the lives of children throughout the world who are suffering from pediatric cancer.

Our Project

Starting July 2nd we are embarking on a 23 day cycling relay from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge.  As a group of teenagers we will be raising money for pediatric cancer research and advances in treatment, education and empowerment of cancer families, and improving the quality of life for children living with cancer.
